The French designer for Faith Connexion, Ilan Delouis, wanted to relay a story of a passion for fashion and fun mixed liberally with mysticism.
Okay, the word “mysticism” conjured up frightening images akin to Linda Blair and the spinning bed so we were prompted to look it up. The dictionary describes ‘mysticism’ as ‘a doctrine of an immediate spiritual intuition of truths believed to transcend ordinary understanding, or of a direct, intimate union of the soul with God through contemplation or ecstasy’. Hmmmm…good enough.
But ‘good enough’ is not how we would describe the line of apparel and accessories put out by Faith Connexion. Their designs are excellent and feature lush fabrics, intricate print work, and feminine embellishments such as well-placed Swarovski crystals and scripture where you would least expect it. A must-have for celebrities and fashionistas, Faith Connexion is quickly establishing itself in the cutting edge of premium/luxury lifestyle market with its messages of faith, love and spirituality.
